Invitation: Brochure Design

  1. Role: Designer of a semester-long brochure project exploring the Japanese Tea Ceremony (chanoyu).

  2. Design Challenge: Communicate the ceremony's core values harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility in a way that blends tradition with mindfulness, rather than just presenting information about tea.

  3. Design Process: Developed the brochure around a sliding-door design and a matcha-splash infographic, using those elements to symbolize the moment tea comes to life.

  4. Outcome: A brochure that presents chanoyu through its values and captures the blending of tradition and mindfulness in a single, symbolic moment.
